Eco-responsible production of viscose

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers are derived from certified renewable wood sources and use an environmentally responsible manufacturing process by meeting high environmental standards. They fit a sustainable lifestyle and contribute to a cleaner environment.

Sustainable wood source

Wood – a natural and renewable raw material, wood and pulp, comes from certified and verified sources that come from sustainably managed forests. The non-profit environmental protection organization Canopy has consistently ranked Lenzing among the top viscose producers worldwide for sustainable wood and pulpwood extraction practices.

Less impact on water

Water – up to 50% less water consumption*. Not only is the water used extremely efficiently, it is also cleaned before being returned to nature.

Lower CO2 emissions

Air – up to 50% less CO2 in the air, helping to combat climate change.

Ecologically responsible viscose fibers

Thanks to its eco-responsible manufacturing practices, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ has a much lower environmental impact than generic viscose, as confirmed by the Higg MSI, and air and water remain cleaner. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers are certified with the EU Ecolabel.
