FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To place an order, select each item you wish to purchase and click the “add to cart” button. Once you have finished shopping, you can view your items in your shopping cart by clicking on “my cart” in the upper right corner. If you have changed your mind about an item, colour or size, you can remove it from your shopping cart by clicking “x” next to the item. Click “proceed to checkout” to complete your order.

Once you have placed an order, and paid, we will send you a confirmation email. If you did not receive an email, please check your junk mail folder. If you don’t see an email from us there either, please contact us at support@aimmea.com.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a track & trace code. You can also access this information if you have created an account on our website.

Through the category“In stock” which you can find in the online shop, you can see which items are available directly from stock. It is possible that not all sizes are available, if they can be re-ordered it is indicated with the item. Please note that even if an item is in your shopping cart, it can still be purchased by another customer until you have paid for your order.

A pre-order is an order for an item that is not yet in stock or is sold out and will be back in stock soon. The description of the item explains when the item is expected to be in stock. Using the“pre-order” category in the online shop, you can see all the items that are available via pre-order.

Each product explains what you can expect from the fit. Aimmea additionally has a size chart to convert International sizes to ours. To find your own size click on the size chart available on each product page, this size chart contains the measurements of the garment where the chart is located. In addition, you can ask team Aimmea about sizing and fit at support@aimmea.com.

If you can’t choose a size for an item it means it is only available in ‘one size’ and you don’t have to enter a size

You can cancel your order until we ship it. If your package has already been sent, you can return it after you have received it

When you place an order with us we pay the shipping costs for packages within the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. For some other countries in Europe you pay 15 euros per package.

The conditions that must be met to receive your purchase price back are in formal language:

  • If you use your right of withdrawal, the product with all accessories and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging will be returned to us.

In plain language, it is this:

We ask that the product is unworn (i.e., fitted only) and free of odour and/or makeup and with the original price tag still attached when returned

You may return your order to us within 14 days of receiving it. Be sure to return your return no later than 14 days after that notification. If you do not register your return with us in advance then it must be shipped back within 14 days. We advise you to keep your track & trace code safe

You can return your package (preferably in the original, environmentally friendly packaging but this is not mandatory) using our return form. Send the package to the address listed on the return form, we recommend doing this with track & trace.

When you order something from us we pay the shipping costs. You pay the cost of the return package yourself.

Aimmea stands for breaking unwritten rules! Indeed, as far as we are concerned, there are no rules for what you should or should not wear, at what age or in what size. We also think it’s important that you feel comfortable in your skin and that’s hard to do with pinchy clothing so we use stretch fabrics of natural origin and our models are generously cut.

The name Aimmea was established in 2007 by founder Maria Nijhout, at the time she was designing bespoke clothing. After years of simply living abroad, she returned to the Netherlands in 2018. The current Aimmea has been in existence since 2018.

Aimmea does not have a physical store, we only sell online

We basically don’t have seasonal collections, our designs are seasonal fluid, so to speak. This means that you can usually wear our designs during all seasons. In layers or combined together. With the exception of a single fake fur coat 🙂 Because of this, we also do not have seasonal sales. What we do do is discount an item every month and regularly our VIPs get discount codes through our newsletter. And bi-annually we have a 50% Sale

Aimmea produces 100% within Europe of which over 85% is produced in the Netherlands. We collaborate with larger production sites (Portugal and the Netherlands) and with smaller fashion studios (the Netherlands).

The VIP group was created to give our most loyal fans a chance to post photos and comments in a protected, safe environment. Here you can also chat with other Aimmea VIPs. As a VIP, you’ll receive great discounts and priority on pre-orders and limited editions through our newsletter.

You can become a VIP in two ways. Through the newsletter and through the Facebook VIP group.

As a VIP through the newsletter, you will receive the newsletter in your inbox. If you are a VIP through the Facebook group then you can post yourself and see all the posts of the admins and of the other VIPs. This group is private and only VIPs and admins can see its contents.

The VIP newsletter is here so we can keep you informed of our news. And the VIP group is mainly there so you can share your news or comment with us and fellow VIPs.

Yes you certainly can! It’s also what most VIPs do.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button in the email. You sign out as a VIP in the Facebook group by clicking ‘leave group’.

When you log into your account click on Dashboard where your personal information is listed. Enter your changes here and then click ‘save changes’ to change your information.
